Spanakorizo is a healthy Greek meal that smells like family! It always reminds to all the Greeks the food their grandmothers used to make. It has two basic ingredients: spinach and rice. Its' texture is similar to a risotto, but its' flavour can't be compared to anything else! It is commonly enjoyed with a lot of lemon on top and a piece of Feta cheese on the side of the plate. Spanakorizo has a special characteristic, the fact that you can either eat it hot or cold. It is one of the few meals that do not lose their taste when cold. Heating instructions: 1) remove the external packagin - 2) pierce the sealing into two spots with a fork - 3) heat in preheated conventional oven at 180°C for 10-12 minutes or in the microwave for 2-3 minutes (800W) - 4) remove the film, the meal is ready to be consumed.
Ingredients: 75% spinach, 12% rice, onion, 5% extra virgin olive oi, sunflower oil, dill, cooking salt, concentrated lemon juice, spices. It may contain traces of milk, wheat, sesame seeds, mustard, eggs, celery, soybean, sulphites, nuts, fish, shrimps and crabs.
