Chios organic mandarins are a rare treat. It has tender, tasty, slightly orange pulp with an intense aroma and a rather rough membrane. This mandarin variety is among the most aromatic in the world.
The madarins of Chios are so fragrant that their aroma escapes the citrus groves, conquering the whole island, making Chios known both in Greece and abroad as 'Myrovolos' – the fragrant island.
The Chios Mandarin has been labeled as a product with a Protected Geographical Indication since December 2012.
