Useful Information

History: The Boutari winery was founded in 1879 in the Naoussa region of northern Greece. Naoussa has been a wine country for centuries. The Naoussa red wine is indeed a famous Greek wine that producers exported to France and Italy at the end of the 19th century. Among the more than 30 labels that the Boutari winery produces, some are particularly indicative and representative of their area of production. We can certainly nominate the Assyrtiko from Santorini, but also this Moschofilero from the Peloponnese, a Greek white wine that has achieved international wine status.

Food pairing: it can possibly be paired with several traditional dishes of Mediterranean cuisine made from tomatoes, feta cheese, salads, seafood or white meat.
