The Organic EVOO is made in Chrisopigi Monastery, located at Chania, Crete, a monastery that was founded in the 16th century. Since then, in the 350 acres of the monastery grows a variety of plants like olive trees, flowers, vegetables etc. without using chemical fertilizers at all and following all the guidelines of bio cultivation. This particular olive oil is a mix from the varieties Koroneiki and Tsounati, the second most ancient variety of olive tree.
