The grapevines at the foot of Mount Helicon, find the perfect soil to grow, while the cold air from the mountains create the right mesoclimatic conditions for producing wines with character and typicity. The vines are cultivated according to the rules and practices of integrated agriculture, which ensure the protection of the environment and the safety of the people working in the fields, while having the best interest for the consumers. Most of the grape varieties are planted in linear vineyards in densely planted rows, an effective technique that results in lower yields per vine and grapes of higher quality. By only choosing the best grapes and using the most modern equipment, the company has successfully been following ISO 22000 and HACCP quality standards. The winery is located in the village of Askri, Viotia, close to the Valley of the Muses, a location that has not changed since 1946. The main goal of the Muses Estate is to constantly upgrade the winery equipment and modernize its processes and infrastructure in order to keep up with the ever-progressing craft of winemaking.
