La differenza tra una classica marmellata e uno spoon sweet (il dolce al cucchiaio della tradizione mediterranea) può effettivamente trarre in inganno. A differenza delle composte da spalmare, questo prodotto contiene frutta conservata in uno sciroppo denso e aromatico, caratteristica che ne determina la spiccata dolcezza. Per valorizzare l'arancia amara e bilanciarne la componente zuccherina, Le consigliamo di provarla in abbinamento a una pallina di gelato al fiordilatte o alla vaniglia, oppure ad accompagnamento di formaggi stagionati ed erborinati: il contrasto tra la dolcezza dello sciroppo e la nota sapida del formaggio crea un ottimo equilibrio. Non conoscevo il prodotto. Credevo fosse una marmellata e invece sono arance direi, caramellate, troppo dolci per i miei gusti. Non c'è niente da migliorare. E' stato un esperimento. Lo offrirò a chi ama le arance con il miele.

Le Neratzi sono arance selvatiche, un po' più amare delle arance classiche, che vengono utilizzate per preparare questo dolce al cucchiaio.
