Koroneiki olive oil from lowland groves, for everyday cooking

Thalea is an extra virgin olive oil made from Koroneiki olives alone, grown in lowland groves. The Greek side of the tin says it in one word, πεδινό: from the plain. The English side says the olives are selected from valley groves.

The name comes from the myth printed on the label. Thalea is the third of the nine Muses, the one who looked after farming and abundance.

This is the tin for everyday cooking: vegetables in the pan, potatoes in the oven, a pot of pulses, the dressing on a weeknight salad.
